My little project was created as a wish of full love..everywhere. Maggie_YouandMe_front Where does it start? Just with your and me! I used Magnolia stamps colored using using copic markers...all soft pastel colors (theme of this delightful challenge at MSL). To add a little sparkle...what else but stikles (cannot wait to get my new ones)? LOL. The heart background was created using Sizzix textured plate...I run this baby on my grand caliber and whoa...nice results! The sentiment is Gilli Stamp you and me, inked using SU ink pad on a Dhalia nestabiltie cut. The doodling was made with copic multiliner. I wanted to add more dimension and flair to where my sentiment was so I add a little flower from StampingScrapping line...and da-da...the pop up came to life :). The edging and stenciling was made using distress ink and distress ink tool from Ranger. All things consider this project was super quick to finish...(catchin' save some therapy money lol)..so why don't you try? Join us at Magnolia Stamp lovers challenge...if you got a little extra time stop by House of Gilli and check out challenge out...super easy recipe created my our buddy dt Suzanne.

Magnolia Stamps :: Tilda in Purple

Candy candy candy? Who wants candy. Click here to try your to win so goooooods!
maggie_plaid_purple~ Hello Tilda lovers!  Are you enjoying the lovely spring weather? Well, people down south of the Equator are enjoying a little cooling. My parents were roasting this past season. Now I am sure they are happy!
Anyway! Today I am sharing with you my lovely Petticoat Tilda and she comes dressed for the season. Sometimes I get bothered with plain color on my stamps and designs, so every now and then I try to create a little pattern. I am not sure how successful I was creating this plaid like top…I kind like the results. I think I will practice a little more : ).

I opted to keep my embelishments simple because of the plaid in the background. Sometimes I feel that the card is naked without a little bling. HAHA. So, thanks to my trustworthy die cutter I was able to make my crazy idea come to life. I am not sure if I have a favorite part of this card, but if I had to choose I would pick the butterfly!  How about you? Drop a note! I am so glad I have made so many new friends and learned so much this way!
See ya’ll soon. Much luv
Oh if you have not voted for our DT friendly competition....come here and check it out my card and link for my deat DT friends!
