Fairy Gilli_SG fairy f

Hi Winter W

inter is here! Unbelievable but we did get some snow a couple days after winter arrived. It looked so pretty! It melted away already but the best pics are the ones you did not take..right? ; )

Well lots of celebrations going on…Merry Christmas for dear friends that are celebrating today with their loved ones..and happy new chapter for all of us. The world did not end! BUT Regular old new year is creeping out on all of us..so you better hurry up if you still need to tackle and put some check marks on your 2012 list LOL. No don’t tell me you already have a new one going on? LOLOLOL Everyone does!!!  What is your FUN New Year resolution? Organized Craft space anyone?? LOLOL

Fairy Gilli_SG fairy

I prepared this little project inspired by the magical aura that people seems to get this time of the year. Touch back with innocence past that once again resurface : ). No matter what you celebrate..you play the dreidel, you décor the tree..you feast in abundance for Kwanzaa…it is time to gather and enjoy love in its essence. Wishing that this feel could last every single day..in moments that life challenge us.

Gilli Fairy _Xmas fairy

For this project I used a Gilli Fairy rubber stamp colored with copic markers and decorated with dies from Silhouette cameo. The little ornaments I made by hand..just any round cut will do it..you just have to embellish your way. : ). Papers from Authentique..one of my favorite lines of paper (you can find  at Oozak). Lots and lots of glittah! Hey it is the season (but if you follow me..glitah is a whole year season for me LOL).

well I will keep this post short but soon a new one to rise LOL. For now enjoy your real gifts…blessings and hugs!

If you have  a little time on hands don’t forget to drop by The outlawz! Greeting card challenge is rolling and it always fun fun!

If you did not get your Cameo from Santa or through the eight nights of Chanukah….you still have a chance at color me creative!!! The holiday bash still going on..but it won’t last forever sooooooo check it out!! Good luck and have fun!

Huggies!

Gili Lady HNY 13~

H- Hi Icon Fallellooooooo! Thank you for coming by! I bet you are having  load of fun already at the CMC bash party! So how many people have you visited yet? Now the cool part is there is a lot more to go! Have you seen the CRAZY good prizes? Also a ton of inspiration and fun!

Wasn't Karen's project divine? Yeap my fellows DTs have their way with markers..Don't you think? LOL

So here is my contribution to the party...I know we are still a little away from it, but honestly days are going by so fast that maybe this project is not so far aheadGili Lady HNY 13 of schedule! Since we are on a party mode..how about go into a NEW YEAR'S groove! AHA!

In my book all that sparkle and glitter suggest party time...Gilli is dressed for the occasion. Doesn't she look like a "Dream girl"? LOL. Yup her metallic plus sparkly sequins dress was all colored with copics. Nothing like metallic sheen and sequins to makes you have 'Supreme" glam!

Also who doesn’t want to start a brand new year wishing upon a gold star? I do! The little golden stars (Cut with Silhouette cameo btw) were colored with copic..Markers are my best buddies! LOL. If you would like to learn quite a few Gili Lady HNY 13 dettricks about coloring you definitely should take a look at Color me creative classes. You can study on your own time and there is a whole network to help you out all the way through your journey…not forgetting the fun biweekly challenges!

Back to the layout..I used four different embossing folders to create all the textures in the card. The circles and ovals were cut using Spellbinders and the bubbles and numbers were die cuts made with the Silhouette Cameo. Toss in a super cute Sea foam glitter and voilah! The show can get started...Shall we start the countdown? LOL

I hope you enjoyed this little project! I will see you soon...in 2013! LOL I told you it is around the corner! LOL 10..9..8..7..

Wait...there are more people to visit...you can not miss that out! Head off anaRy-handwrito Marti  and be inspired!!! She is awesome!!!!!

Super hugs!!! Thank you in advance for your feedback..I love to hear all your comments! Leave a shout out so I can visit too!

Season Greetings

Gilli Fairy 2 Candy Fairy~
H- Hi Icon Fall
ey you all! Long time no see! Smile I had to take a tiny break, some changes happening and one of them involve packing my studio. Do I hear a “WHOA!? Yeap..you trully know what I mean...just take one quick look around you…how do you pack all your craft stuff? HEHHE. Well I am about to start that challenge…hang on…Did I tell you I like to crochet, knit, paint and cake decorate? But wait there is more….Sewing! I am not even telling you my craze with wrapping paper…yes, I go all the way when I hand a gift…full experience. So I am taking a deep breath…and getting started. If you notice some hic ups on my presence around…you know where I will be …under my embellishment pile probably!!! LOL
But now is holiday season time. I hope even though reality sucks sometimes, we can keep in mind the tons of blessing we receive every single moment. I will share with you what I do…I give myself 5 minutes of self pity evry day. That is all LOL. I can tell you I am booked HAHAHHA. The rest of the time I try to focus on positive things…here is a big example. Share my work with you! I always have a load of fun sharing ideas and learning from you my fellow crafters!
This new Gilli Project was inspired by the lights and cheer that this time of the year bringGilli Fairy 2 Candy Fairy us. For this project I used Gilli Fairy 2…she lost her wings as you can see, but make no mistake the magic is within Winking smile . I used copic markers to color the image…lots of blues and high contrasts. I added a little bling to the dress. It’s the holidays after all.
It has been a while I created and I missed all my knick knacks and tools. So I pulled my dies and my designer papers and went to town! At Oozak blog
challenge this month we have a different challenge! Anything goes with a twist…Red! So I picked my color choices..blues (one of my fav colors and sprinkle of reds). The little candy canes I created by using a wired ribbon that I found last year at Michaels. Since I wanted a heavy “winter wonderland feel” to this card without being too traditional I added glitter to the swirls and flourishes I used. Another way of adding a little holiday touch was by adding little berries around the layout (I used liquid pearls and stickles for that).
Gilli Fairy 2 Candy Fairy aTalking about layout, this one was inspired by the Greeting Card challenge over The Outlawz…It’s an eye sideways. A little cherry winky hehe. The theme focusing on eyes inspired me to do a holiday make up to Gilli eyes too. I loved doing that (I can use some practice) and I see myself doing this more and more.
Well I hope you are having a lovely season and please give yourself sometime to enjoy what really matters…the people that we love…the friendships and every good thing that comes with it. Forgive and forget…reconnect and reach out. Rekindle…don’t hold back…magic does happen. Winking smile. Although twisting my nose seems not to be working when comes to get my studio packed HAHAHAHHAHA. See Ya!
Huggies!

It’s magic!

Gilli Romantic_magic~

H- Hi Icon Fallello everyone : ). It’s fall already…life seems to be all about cycles…right? I always have to keep in mind…as much as I enjoy the come and go of seasons..some cycles of life can make me sad…you see I have been away and for a long time I though on how to write about how I lost a beautiful flower in my garden…one that made me smile everyday..night..day…any time. I am still heartbroken, but as my flower showed me day in an out we must focus on the beauty and the positive things. The smell still here…the touch will never be forgotten…and I think it is all because of her magic. The inner one that everyone and everything has….life must go on…good changes will be welcome. I will keep faith. It is good to be back and know you are out there : ). TY for your patience and your friendships…you know who you are Winking smile.

Today I will share with you a little project I prepared for different challenges. A Gilli project with a little magic on it LOL. Well it is no secret I do love an embossing. I am Gilli Romantic_magicmadddd about dry embossing, heat embossing, pretty much any kind of embossing (So guess what is this week’s theme for  House of Gilli Challenge? lol) For this project I used one of my favorite things..Zing! Talking about transformation…I really like the metallic from this brand. If you are looking for something like that for your Christmas stuff…your search is over. I am that serious. LOL. I die cut the letters ( I used the amazing cardstock from paper temptress – she has amazing cardstock with perfect weight to do this. I am not even mentioning the pop tones paper that simple match with everything lol)/ put some of the magic powder and BAM! Maybe PLIM! lol there…gold…coppers. The powder was so forgiving that I even manage to create a distress look frame around the image.

Gilli Romantic_magic sidewayThe metallic feel of this project came from the Greeting Cards Challenge at the Outlawz..it is all about metals this week. Aside from all my metallic zings, ribbon and what not I also added a little star brad…I very seldom use brads but they are the easiest way to add dimension to a project.

I hope you will be bring some of your magic to our challenges! We all have a little something sparkly and special to share in this world…. hey there is always someone out there that can use some cheering…so bring it on!!!

Much love to you all

huggies

@ you # Party!

Gilli Florist_@you#party~

Hi icon ArcheoButerflies

ello darlings. How is everyone enjoying the week? I am fighting the heat and trying to keep my flowers alive. I love love flowers and finally this year I manage not only to keep my hanging flower basket alive but it is full! Gosh I can barely believe…because I killed last years in less then two months LOL.

I am still crossing my fingers to get my mums going for a nice fall look on my door : )

Today I would loooove to share with you a project I made inspired by the colors from the Touch Twin markers challenge. The colors were soooo refreshing …it was a blast digging around my room to pick the right combo colors…EEEkk I need to get myself more organized…Don’t we all! lol

Gilli Florist_@you#party

I used Gilli florist for this project….yeap same old markers used here.

Don’t kill me but I completely forgot to write down the name of the paper pads..I took them out of my table and shhh fell into my paper vortex…result…cannot find it LOL. I am so bad LOL.

Now the good news is…I am going for the dies…gosh the Memory box and Poppy dies are killing me..No seriously, they are they super cute…I do have a cameo…and I get a lot done with it in one whirl…but I seem not to be able to turn my back into the metal dies all the day…They are just adorable.

Gilli Florist_@you#party detSee my little tweet? Okay the banner I just winged with my scissors, but that cute little birdy is also a memo box dies.

The little lanterns were first colored with markers and then I added some serious sparkle using my faithful stickles. I added a big chuck of stickles this time…it looks very nice in person. Even the bird got a little blue stickles LOL….’

Just because it is a fresh girly theme…lovely pearl earrings…created with liquid pearls…gotta have them all soon! Such an essential…hum…. this gives me an idea! LOL Come back and you will see heheh..

Please also join us for a huge fun time over the Greeting card challenge over The outlawz! The theme this week is….very easy : )…Come ne in and get into the party!!!

Super hugs to you all!!

Paris

Jeadore color by anaRy

S - Hi Icon Spring

ummer skies are a lovely thing to watch. Starts are a show apart! I only can imagine how would be seeing a sunset in Paris…the lucky ones that have seen call it breathtaking. I believe it!

That is what is cool about creating…takes you anywhere you want to go Smile… and today we have a French flair.

For this project I used my copics…in a different way…creating a background. Simple mixing things up a bit and blending without a lot of worries to create a sky…well that is my imagination working here..LOL No sky in Paris would be complete without some glitz and pearls, agreed? LOL So I used a tiny bit of stickles and also liquid pearls. This cute ParisJeadore color by anaRy det image from Squigglefly  did not need much help…since it is so nice…but I added a little back stickles to just add a little to the magic…By the way Squigle is sponsoring the current challenge for Color me creative challenge! Come by and join us!

My paper is from recollection, I just need a little “frame since the image definitely can stand on its own. Smile

I hope you enjoyed this little project and will join us for a coloring fun over Color me creative. You can use any alcohol markers!

See you around with another project!

At the beach…

Gilli Bloomers_the ocean

Hi icon ArcheoButerflies

eelooooo everybody! I hope you have been busy creating those amazing projects! Oh don’t tell me you only have been looking at your “pile” of goodies you just had delivered? LOL No that is a sin! You must try to make a little time and give your brain a brake! Create time is reenergizing time…works for me like a day at the beach…Since I cannot get to the beach…..I bring it to me! At least Gilli seems to be a beach girl since way back in the day!

Oh today I totally rebelled…forgot the floors, the pile of laundry to fold..I resisted to …never mind. LOL I attended to all musts and urgent things and then I sat and createdGilli Bloomers_the ocean~. I finally manage to use my ShinHan markers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY some of these markers have been on my table for not less then four months…yes people f.o.u.r. months. I was almost crying LOL. I wanted to play with it before, but since my collection still very tiny (I might be adding some more soon) I had to be very wise choosing image..I knew I would have to finish some of the work with my regular alcohol markers..but I wanted use the Shin for the main part of my coloring. I did it!!!

For this project I used ShinHan Markers, plus a few copics to color Gilli bloomers. Things you should know about the Shins…here come very good news. Shin markers blends beautifully with copics. Second, some of the Shin colors are really really beautiful. I am IN LOVE with the deep navy…Oh I have been dying to reach this color for while..and boy I was a happy camper..LOL Of course IGilli Bloomers_the ocean d will still have to practice my coloring since I still have much to learn. Practice and practice!

Another thing I was able to play with was my distress ink pads to create a background. I used not one but two pads from the “Spring 2012” and “Summer 2012” sets. I told you I rebelled LOL (very rare moment LOL). Luv the brightness of these distress inks…I want to dive in!!! As you can see I punched all the way LOL. I used not one but four different punches (Martha Stewart and EK) plus two different die cuts (Memory box and MFT). All cuts distressed with distress inks to create a vintage lacy frame. All the pretty little pearls were made using liquid pearls and Want to scrap pearls. Ribbons from Martha’s line. There! I made time and I created! LOL

Thank you guys for dropping by to look around! I am always so happy to hear from you!anaRy-handwri So what you have been up to? Have you been following the new releases from CHA SUMMER in Chicago? Winking smile
