Magnolia Stamp :: Easter bunny treat

Howdy ladies and Gent!
If you are out there and need a little idea for a last minute bunny gift. No worries. Just grab your Magnolia stamp and an acetate box (I know you saved one from that tool that you got last year; ) ) and some delicious chocolate (yes...the ones from that stash that your people don't know about heheh. See we got something in commum. Joking! Well I do have chocolate away!).
To make this little project I just stamped my Magnolia stamp with memento ink and colored with my trust worthy Copics. I used some spicas for a little touch of bling! The trick on this project is very easy. Make sure when you are cutting your image to fit in the box...you leave a belt. The belt will help keep your image right where you wanted it to be!.
After you are done, just pour the chocolates and spruce it up with a nice ribbon! Voila! In a few minutes you will get a pretty package and for sure you will make quite an impression!
Note: You can use this same principal to adorn a ton of other gift boxes too! Reuse, recicle, reporpouse!
luv, anaRy

Magnolia stamp:: Carnaval!!!!!!!

Hellooooo dear friends! Open the streets because the magnolia fans came to party! It is Carnaval at Magnolia stamp lovers! I am honored to be hosting Challenge #4, and to celebrate I choose Carnaval as a theme! So bring the bling, the pearls and the beads because it is time to have fun fun fun!
Carnaval just started down in Rio and Mardi Gras in New Orleans will be sweet (for the lovely people of Louisiana and Saints fans!)...ah and who can forget the happy and colorful streets of Venice!
I had a load of fun making this card. I had all the little elements stuck in my head for a long time! It took  me a little while to put together ( this one will be a record in my book) but i had planned to make some things from scratch and that takes a little planning and time to execute :). The idea here was to bring the vibe of Colombina, the eternal pair of the Pierrot, the ultimate romantic couple of many many carnavals...I hope you like my Colombina and its embellishments...
Now follow me to Magnolia Stamp Lovers to learn the rules of this Challenge and get the party going! You could win a lovely prize, thanks to Cindy from Stampingscrapping.com

Let's celebrate! It is Chinese New Year~ Since I started making cards I am following all the holidays :) . This is the year of the Tiger! Let me say Chinese New year celebrations are so pretty. So many bright and beautiful colors! It is hard to resist this beautiful celebration without a card. In this card I colored one of my designs...some of the detail are all done by hand.

I hope the colorful creation will bring a little cheer to your day...Boy do we need a cheer! We officially had the snowiest season ever! It is simply spectacular outside..beautiful. TGIF!! Rock Snow Star!

It is show time! Holiday season is right at the door step...so as the snow! Say hello to my Rock snow star. I better find a name for her (How about make a comment and drop some suggestions?)! I made this card based on the Friday Sketchers. I am not sure if I will be able to make, but my idea was to make something . Did I  say  I am a rookie? Yeap. I decided to do this card in the last minute while I was sleepless last night...( Now I am ready to hit the sac heheh). I am just loving to experiment with all kinds of goodies I have been collecting thru the past couple months.

Yes, yes I used my beloved microbeads...they are so cool! Aside from that I also tried for the first time Ranged puff embossing powder...what a neat texture. I like it! But beyond micro beads my new obsession is MARKERS! The more I color the more I want to learn about markers and its techniques...I am in heaven with these pens! I will update the "This & That" later today. So good luck for all of us...TGIF!!!
Update: I just decided to enter the Saturday challenge about Snow!

Lights!! Happy Hanukkah!

Lights! Hanukkah the festival of lights honors a miracle. The supply of oil in the Temple was enough only to keep the Menorah lights for one day… but miraculously the lights burn for 8 days. When I think of this miracle…I cannot stop to think how that difficulty faced back then could be translated into today’s reality, where so many people has to “magically” makes things last. Faiths keep us alive!
Now to the card! I am getting crazy about micro beads. I have to say that if you try to use micro beads you going to go nuts. BUT these tiny little balls look PRE-TTY! The texture given by these tiny beads is so cool; you surely will get a nice extra “humph” in your design. It is worth chasing them around : ). I highly recommend using a tray and also lots of fabric softer sheet to help with the static.

In this card I also used for the first time my new Sizzix embossing folder. I like very much the tiny flowers. This new folder is a winner….perfect for Valentine’s Day and spring! Don’t you think? Do you have Sizzix folders? What is your favorite?

Thanksgiving...everyday.

I have been following for a little while tons of cute and very instructive papercrafting blogs. I recently decided to grab some nice tools and try my hand on carmaking.
Oy vey, one can get overwhelmed at the craft store. So many goodies are available (I must remind myself to keep the buget!). I will (hopefully on a regular basis : ) ) share with you the results of my learning process. See my first attempt up there?!**
I will be also posting about my impressions of a little slice of the cardmaking world. So much to learn!
For now thanks for stopping by...and I hope to see you around!
Leave a comment so I can visit you!
Hugs
Happy turkey day...yummy!

**I will add the details soon...
