Gilli-Romantic-Spring-Fairy_thumb2
Hi icon ArcheoButerfliesello Everyone! Welcome to my little Atelie! I am sure you already got wowed by Alicia’s project! Well you will be on  clouds after you reach the end of this hop. The teams are so talented and I am very happy to be participating on this hop!
Gilli Romantic Spring FairyF
Ahhh spring! So many colors! The light just makes everything more special! To create this colorful spring background I used Woodware USA house stamp set  Easy Stitching. I picked two of the many stamps of this set and using different colors stamp pads a rainbow of stitches came to life! Spring scream flowers! No problem, another stamp from the same set from Woodwarehouse and bingo! I have a rows of embroidery flowers! I colored each one using my copic markers, matching the stitch rainbow pattern paper.
Now that the set is ready….Gilli Romantic! She comes as a fairy sprinkling good wishes from this lovely season to the new friends we are making today! Gilli Romantic was colored with copic markers. Her dress pattern was created free hand and also colored with copics. Fairies needs a little a pretty magical glow…so I created a cute little one using Anglaise die cut and tied little pieces of cotton cord.  Martha Stewart punch, pearlized embelishments and glitter glue from Studio G.
Gilli Romantic Spring Fairy Paper CU
I loved how the Easy Stitching set gave me the freedom of creating the perfect background for Gilli! Oh! I almost forgot…check out the fairy dust I put on the paper…Well…Glimmer mist for down to earth people….for me…sprinkles of creativity to all of you! I hope ya’ll liked the project!
Thanks for stopping by! Keep in touch! Have fun now at Anne’s blog!!!

Groovie Gilli Tee!

Gilli Tee_LetsBoogie~

Hi icon ArcheoButerflies

ellooooo everyone! What you guys are planning for the weekend? Maybe a Royal Wedding marathon preparation? : ). Well my skies are not cooperating..it is kind of gray and I feels actually chilly…which spooks me from the outdoor. The only good thing about this upcoming storm is the wash….yeah this will wash a gazillions ton of pollen that is making everything yellow! Seems that I just might join you for the marathon after all lol…might squeeze a clean up too. I am in a quest to reclaim my sanity! LOL

Gilli Tee_LetsBoogie

Okay! Here we gooo! OMG I will tell you a secret I have some phobia of the 70’s colors..gezz no offence but by holly coco…who decided to pick some of the 70’s colors….not my BFF…because I simply run from it..LOL. Joking aside..I had to prepare a little card for the House of Gilli Challenge – I was already under pressure with a to do list from the ages..and I will not even mention the interruptions LOL – Yeah I know you get me Winking smile )…I was in a crisis thinking Gilli Tee_LetsBoogie_cuwhat Gilli to use (you know it is hard for a Mama to pick and choose a kid lol). So I looked for my papers for inspirations…and Bang! Some colors came to my attention..combined with AJ theme..stripes and bling…Tada! Boogie! I cannot believe but I actually made a card pulling a 70’s vibe…I took the liberty of brushing off a little bit of the shades LOL. Hellooo..we are in the 21 century after all LOL. But doesn’t Gilli look like she just pooped from some kind of time machine? LOL. Gilli Tee was colored with Copics and blinged up with Stickles. The flowers (we are in Spring after all lol) are prima with a touch of distress inks…I also distressed all the paper pieces (K & CO and DCWV). The punched pieces are from Martha Stewart and SU. My sentiment was written by hand using my fab copic multiliner (Loooove it). I pulled a very pale pink ribbon just for a touch…(I am following Sketchers Saturday sketch).

So how about you? How about some funky time with your coloring tools and your stamps? Yeah! Let’s do it!

I will see you soon…oh before I go…keep in touch (you can follow me – right there on the side). I will be bringing more projects with the brand new Gilli collection that just go in at Cindy!! If you want your new Gilli don’t you wait..seems like the girls are HOT..; ). I am soo glad you all are having fun with Gilli. That makes me so happy! Don’t forget to share the project with us!

Huge huggie!

Gilli Renaissance:: 1 st Eucharist

Gilli Renasc_1stEucharist~

Hi icon ArcheoButerflies

ello everyone. It has been raining like nobody’s bizz around here. It is crazy…bom rain and wind starts all of sudden. I am hoping the weather will give a little brake so I can work some flowers I got ahold of. Gardening has become one of the things I consider my “fun time”. Cake decorating is the other. I love making cute little things to put on the top of cakes and cupcakes. I will try to share sometime…the only problem with eatable art…doesn't last long. LOL. Well right now I cannot bake cupcakes as usual because we started Passover…and we keep all leavened things out of our homes. The Seder is the time to recount the exodus and the miracles G-d did and still does! This is a blessed season…and I believe it is raining blessings!

Gilli Renasc_1stEucharist_f

We are in a season where a lot of my friends will be celebrating Easter. Also a lot of my friends’ kids and friends’ greatkids will be  celebrating their First Holy Communion. I prepared this card for a First Eucharist using Gilli Renaissance . For the 1st communion kids wear white in sign of purity…Gilli was lightly colored to give that crisp white feel of a white dress. The lace details were freehand using copic multiliner. I added a little shine using a light coat of stickles. Since Gilli is dressed up for such lovely occasion I also added some flowers (tiara like) at the top of her her…the tiara is holding a veil (used by girls only). I created the flowers on her hair using white pen and toped with Stickles.

Gilli Renasc_1stEucharist_cu This project was created for the challenge at SSCC, Rain & Water. I decide to interpreter the challenge in a different way where the shiny drops (sparkly DOTS) in the background are blessings casted upon the child and the water is represented by the gloss finish at the cross (made with a combo of Stickles &  UTT) Before I added the shine and the gloss I embossed the cross with Sizzix embossing folder. The whole idea was to keep the feel of this card very Ethereal and Angelic…just like I saw many of my friends on their Special day..their First communion. I hope you like the idea! It is a lovely card to offer someone!

Keep in touch so you won’t miss when I share one more Gilli of the latest collection soon. Gilli will be shipping arriving this Thursday at Auntie Cindy at Stamping Scrapping …and to your home anytime you wish! Check it out!

Huggies,

anaRy

Easter will be hoping by soon enough and what a blessed holiday for so many people. Reflection…time to prepare baskets and share the blessings. In this project that I prepared for CCMC you can see  how happy Gilli is to be part of this occasion…she hopping of joy! Check it out this pretty pastel polka dot dress : ) All done with copic markers! Even those cute bunny ears!!! I used cryogen paper for coloring Gilli. The flowers are prima colored with distress inks. Also as embellishment a little bow with cotton cord and a ribbon accent.

Happy Easter

Maggie Easter~
Hi icon ArcheoButerfliesi everyone! Listen out... It was 80F around here! YIPEEEE! But instead of celebrating and parking my winter carcass outside..I am double working (lol what’s new, right? Amen for that!) and I have some allergic reaction from the ages!! Yikes! Not fun at all being itchy..you allergic people out there..may I join the club? LOL. Rats! I hope this will go away soon…whatever it is! I am tired of having “urucas” nearby just waiting to attack  me!! LOL (uruca…google will help you..lol).Maggie Easter_f
So to a good and better things!
I am glad to share with you my latest project. I cute Easter card. I tried to keep the traditional look and go for softness. Here Magnolia stamp is colored with copic markers…Most of the cardstock was itty bitty pieces I had at around! The pattern paper is K and Co (if I am not mistaken – I have to figure out a way to keep the brand name of my paper pieces lol). The cutie lace is one of the various cute paper punches from Martha Stewart. The ribbon and the little Skittles are from my warehouse (a.k.a my craft place). All that bling is stikles. Now that charming flower on the top was made with flowers from my stash (this one was colored with copics!) and the bottom part is a delightful cream flower from Cindy. Have you seen the HUGE VARIETY of flowers that Cindy carry (Her own line) at stampingscrapping? Insanely gorgeous pieces. Pick some! You won’t regret to start a collection!
I hope you enjoyed my little card. Don’t forget to join us  Magnolia Stamp Lovers for this Easter Challenge!
See you very soon! Huggies,
anaRy

Gilli Rockability :: Vintage Vibe

Gilli Rockability_VinatageVibe~
Hi icon ArcheoButerfliesowdy everybody! Today I will be sharing with you a project carrying that Vintage Vibe! Here she comes the queen of the the household…Gilli Rockability!
Okay I love to go to flea markets, garage sales, you name it…LOL I have sooo much fun going through all the things…not only because they have some aesthetic appeal but also of its past.  Each piece in my view was important to someone..was designed by somebody…and made a lot of difference somewhere. Each piece has more then one meaning and should be admired : ). I treasure each one of my finds.
Gilli Rockability_VinatageVibe_f~
I think it is super cute to mix old and new…find a new life in an old object. I try to incorporate pieces here and there in my space as much as I can…(maybe too much lol).
Gilli Rockability comes to bring this vintage vibe…a time of no ipods..PCs…or smart phones! A time where everything seems looked so romantic and the impossible was the goal!
Gilli Rockability_VinatageVibe_cuI tried to evoke this time period in my little project…how about that refrigerator ha? LOL. I used copic markers to color Gilli. The papers used for this project are cryogen (super good for coloring with copics), regular cardstock and patterned papers from DCWV and K & Co. Flowers and Ribbons from personal collection. The little lacy border is a piece punched using Martha Stewart punch. All pieces were distressed using Distress inks. A true rockability would never dare be without earrings LOL so I used tiny little rhinestones for this effect. The wall clock was made using a clear button, regular cardstock and copic multiliners (as you can see I have before and after pictures of it…since I decide to pull a nice metallic feel to it.). To finalize a cutsey bow with a flower and a pearl! Ahh the old times…so nostalgic..so romantic…: )
Hey CMCC is having a super cool copic challenge! Metalics! Yeah come over and join us over there…it is open for everyone..just join the challenge group! You can win a nice little gift from  my friend Suzanne!
Oh I almost forgot drop by Through the craftdoor room. The mini magazine created by dear pals Marty and Suzanne is having a birthday celebration…and if you join you can win some cool stuff! It is an open party just join the group (no need to be a subscriber). So what are you waiting for! Let’s rock on!
See yall!
