Magnolia Stamps :: Tilda in Purple

Candy candy candy? Who wants candy. Click here to try your to win so goooooods!
maggie_plaid_purple~ Hello Tilda lovers!  Are you enjoying the lovely spring weather? Well, people down south of the Equator are enjoying a little cooling. My parents were roasting this past season. Now I am sure they are happy!
Anyway! Today I am sharing with you my lovely Petticoat Tilda and she comes dressed for the season. Sometimes I get bothered with plain color on my stamps and designs, so every now and then I try to create a little pattern. I am not sure how successful I was creating this plaid like top…I kind like the results. I think I will practice a little more : ).
maggie_plaid_purple
I opted to keep my embelishments simple because of the plaid in the background. Sometimes I feel that the card is naked without a little bling. HAHA. So, thanks to my trustworthy die cutter I was able to make my crazy idea come to life. I am not sure if I have a favorite part of this card, but if I had to choose I would pick the butterfly!  How about you? Drop a note! I am so glad I have made so many new friends and learned so much this way!
See ya’ll soon. Much luv
Oh if you have not voted for our DT friendly competition....come here and check it out my card and link for my deat DT friends!

I understand the purple thing completely, Anary! I have a hard time using purple too. In fact I have very few purple Copics. It's just a thing. But, hey! You did a wonderful job using purple on this Tilda. Her skirt is gorgeous, you got the shadows and highlites just perfect. So, this looks gorgeous in purple..."Hey Mikey, he likes it!" All your embellishments are wonderful, gorgeous card girl!

Very, Very nice. Yes You were right. We were in the same Copic class. My favorite is the plaid AND the butterfly. I actually have this same butterfly adhered to my computer monitor in pink and purple!!!!

Beautiful card, Anary! It's move lavender or lilac and not deep purple so it's great! I think eventually you'll be more comfortable with this color. Love the die-cut also! Hugs, Cami

Hi Anary!
WOW what a gorgeous card. The skirt is coloured wonderfully and your 'plaid' top is as well.
I happen to like purple but have other colours that I don't like to work with so understand how you feel. That die cut you have used is exraordinary - LOVE IT.
