Miss You and Heads Up for a ♥ cause
ello everyone! I missed you all! Yeap true…I love to be in touch with my fellow crafters as much as I can. I enjoy sharing and listening about the life updates..birthdays..graduations..all the trimmings. But you know who needs helps doing that? Our wonderful soldiers! Yes. Our Boys and Gals that are deployed all over the world. Sometimes these men and woman are in places that is very hard or far away from anywhere they can pick up a sweet card and send a quick little note home. Luckily our Armed forces have OPERATION WRITE HOME (OWH). OWH is a non profit organization that send special boxes filled with cards to soldiers all over the world. How can you help OWH keep the good deed going? Making cards!!! Yes! OWH angels receive tons of hand made cards from crafters all over the world then check and organize cards to be sent out to our soldiers.
Now we would love for you to join us to help OWH. We though would be an amazing fun
to do a blog hop to inspire you! Design Teams from Paper Temptress, Oozak and Color me Creative Class will join together in one amazing Card drive HOP. The fun just gets better! You can join in by making a project (following OWH – size and safety guidelines), entering a picture of the project on the hop inlinkz (One project linked per person please) then mailing the project to us. We will loooove if you could send as many as you can by November, 7th (we will screen and send all to OWH) . You could win super prizes from amazing super generous sponsors!!! YES!! You do a good deed and you also can win a sweet gift!!!
Just as a initial idea I created the little card above following OWH guidelines. Amazing quality paper and NO glitter. Everything is super duper glued so it will resist battlefront conditions.
Stay tuned our OWH Hop Card drive will happen on OCTOBER 2nd!

THANK YOU to our sponsors!!!

Congrats Grads
ey you! I am sure you are enjoying the break. Kids out of school and proud parents are celebrating the culmination of years of their babies work..well theirs too! As a friend said…I am also graduating : ) after all this year of tutoring.
. Well more to come. A chapter is completed and many many more beautiful chapter are to come in the lives of these kids! Congrats Grads!
My project today is all about graduation. I created this card as a gift for a very dear girly…she just finished HS and will be off to college soon. Guess what her favorite color is? HA my fear factor color…PURPLE. LOL. Yes I have not yet passed of my purple fear. I still
do not get why. I like this color on others and things…but never pick an item in purple for me hehe. I guess my friends, and I seriously say that 4 out of 5 LOVES purple, will get anything I thing is cute in purple.
I used Gilli Graduate for this project. One little adaptation I extended her little original hair to match my friend’s hair (gorgeous and smart…oy that is dangerous lol).
All the papers are from Paper Temptress. People, you must get by Patricia’s store. Some specialty papers that you will NOT find in your mega craft store. And they give that extra bam you need in your cards/projects. Just check that distress..and the columns of the paper. This paper also picked the inks very nicely allowing me to create a super personalized background. I am not going to even mention that the weight of these Pop tones papers are perfect for creating layers (and match the inks out there folks!!).
For coloring I used my faithful copics and my multiliners. I have been coloring less then I would like to …but OH I love my markers LOL. I know you understand me..’cause most people..don’t. ![]()
I guess I will need a few more occasions to get my card making kick up to speed!
I am so glad you stopped by..Leave a hello if you feel like it…I say I have been missing my craft buddies : ).
More project to come..sooner then you think
.
Love to you all!

If there is one gal that you can count on for the good the bad and the ugly is Suzanne! I am more then happy to call her my friend (right bestie? LOL). Not unusual for me to end up with my cheeks hurting from laughing so hard when we manage to get together. Even when we are apart we have a ball…distance is not an obstacle for this lady…we manage to keep in touch through out her travels (and crazy adventures!) around the US. A true entrepreneur she is an inspiration for young ladies out there.
On your day Su I wish you a lot of health and that your wishes will all come true! The rest is I know you will conquer! Cheers my friend!
So here is my gift for you Bestie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A Suzanne Mobil!! LOL Kidding! Well I wish I could! You would look lovely in this wild thing! HAHHAHAH. For sure all neighborhood will know where you are HAHAH.

Holiday wishes
inter is here! Unbelievable but we did get some snow a couple days after winter arrived. It looked so pretty! It melted away already but the best pics are the ones you did not take..right? ; )
Well lots of celebrations going on…Merry Christmas for dear friends that are celebrating today with their loved ones..and happy new chapter for all of us. The world did not end! BUT Regular old new year is creeping out on all of us..so you better hurry up if you still need to tackle and put some check marks on your 2012 list LOL. No don’t tell me you already have a new one going on? LOLOLOL Everyone does!!! What is your FUN New Year resolution? Organized Craft space anyone?? LOLOL
I prepared this little project inspired by the magical aura that people seems to get this time of the year. Touch back with innocence past that once again resurface : ). No matter what you celebrate..you play the dreidel, you décor the tree..you feast in abundance for Kwanzaa…it is time to gather and enjoy love in its essence. Wishing that this feel could last every single day..in moments that life challenge us.
For this project I used a Gilli Fairy rubber stamp colored with copic markers and decorated with dies from Silhouette cameo. The little ornaments I made by hand..just any round cut will do it..you just have to embellish your way. : ). Papers from Authentique..one of my favorite lines of paper (you can find at Oozak). Lots and lots of glittah! Hey it is the season (but if you follow me..glitah is a whole year season for me LOL).
well I will keep this post short but soon a new one to rise LOL. For now enjoy your real gifts…blessings and hugs!
If you have a little time on hands don’t forget to drop by The outlawz! Greeting card challenge is rolling and it always fun fun!
If you did not get your Cameo from Santa or through the eight nights of Chanukah….you still have a chance at color me creative!!! The holiday bash still going on..but it won’t last forever sooooooo check it out!! Good luck and have fun!
Huggies!

♥♥♥
ellooooooo! Thank you for coming by! I bet you are having load of fun already at the CMC bash party! So how many people have you visited yet? Now the cool part is there is a lot more to go! Have you seen the CRAZY good prizes? Also a ton of inspiration and fun!
Wasn't Karen's project divine? Yeap my fellows DTs have their way with markers..Don't you think? LOL
So here is my contribution to the party...I know we are still a little away from it, but honestly days are going by so fast that maybe this project is not so far ahead
of schedule! Since we are on a party mode..how about go into a NEW YEAR'S groove! AHA!
In my book all that sparkle and glitter suggest party time...Gilli is dressed for the occasion. Doesn't she look like a "Dream girl"? LOL. Yup her metallic plus sparkly sequins dress was all colored with copics. Nothing like metallic sheen and sequins to makes you have 'Supreme" glam!
Also who doesn’t want to start a brand new year wishing upon a gold star? I do! The little golden stars (Cut with Silhouette cameo btw) were colored with copic..Markers are my best buddies! LOL. If you would like to learn quite a few
tricks about coloring you definitely should take a look at Color me creative classes. You can study on your own time and there is a whole network to help you out all the way through your journey…not forgetting the fun biweekly challenges!
Back to the layout..I used four different embossing folders to create all the textures in the card. The circles and ovals were cut using Spellbinders and the bubbles and numbers were die cuts made with the Silhouette Cameo. Toss in a super cute Sea foam glitter and voilah! The show can get started...Shall we start the countdown? LOL
I hope you enjoyed this little project! I will see you soon...in 2013! LOL I told you it is around the corner! LOL 10..9..8..7..
Wait...there are more people to visit...you can not miss that out! Head off

Season Greetings
ey you all! Long time no see!
But now is holiday season time. I hope even though reality sucks sometimes, we can keep in mind the tons of blessing we receive every single moment. I will share with you what I do…I give myself 5 minutes of self pity evry day. That is all LOL. I can tell you I am booked HAHAHHA. The rest of the time I try to focus on positive things…here is a big example. Share my work with you! I always have a load of fun sharing ideas and learning from you my fellow crafters!
This new Gilli Project was inspired by the lights and cheer that this time of the year bring
It has been a while I created and I missed all my knick knacks and tools. So I pulled my dies and my designer papers and went to town! At Oozak blog
challenge this month we have a different challenge! Anything goes with a twist…Red! So I picked my color choices..blues (one of my fav colors and sprinkle of reds). The little candy canes I created by using a wired ribbon that I found last year at Michaels. Since I wanted a heavy “winter wonderland feel” to this card without being too traditional I added glitter to the swirls and flourishes I used. Another way of adding a little holiday touch was by adding little berries around the layout (I used liquid pearls and stickles for that).
Well I hope you are having a lovely season and please give yourself sometime to enjoy what really matters…the people that we love…the friendships and every good thing that comes with it. Forgive and forget…reconnect and reach out. Rekindle…don’t hold back…magic does happen.
Huggies!
Ps: Don't forget to join us also at House of Gilli Challenge...easy one!!! See you there.
