When I hear the phrase “ America the beautiful” something always happens to my brain…I have little flashes of a beautiful history I love to learn and I am proud to know more and more. The whole foundation of USA is just amazing. I am not going to lecture you about history (yes I am a History buff and my mission this summer is to go to Arlington, VA.) but every single moment in USA history speaks a million. Lessons learned, new ways created by and for a unique culture. A loving people eager to help, to share and to celebrate freedom.
Of course there is always those curious things about a nation…like my shock to eat hot dogs and beans! Whoa! I though…gosh the side effects. No wonder baseball games are always an explosion! lol! Kidding, well biologically speaking…not really : ). That is where my inspiration come from…a tribute to a delicacy that America gave to the world…The hot dog! I twinkle a little bit the mimosa baker stamp and transformed her roller pin into a nice giant hot dog! Easy breeze! You can do it too.
So for this 4 th of july celebrate the freedom, the people and the heroes that build this nation! Remember the ones that gave their lifes, the ones who volunteers, the ones still fighting and working to keep the old ideals live for future generations to come! Happy 4th USA. Happy 4TH!
Hey come and join us for this Red, white and blue celebration at Bildmalarna stamp blog challenge!
See ya! GO USA!!!!! World Soccer Cup in South Africa!
Happy father’s day everybody! Well what to say about the great human being that brought us up? Well I will I say one thing…listen to them! Yeah I guess I am at that age that we start looking back and being more thankful than ever for all the “going on and on and on” ; ) lol. Believe me I have stories to tell! lol. One of them..I have to thank my dad, a once up a time fire brigade member in his job, to teach me how to react in an emergency. I will cut the story short…I saw myself in a situation that it could have gotten hairy…Guess what happen? Dad’s instructions came in practice like auto pilot..and I end up with an invitation for showing up at the Fire department job’s fair from the fire Marshall himself! He said…”We need people like you”. Hurray DAD! Here it comes…like a cheerleader. Maggie celebrating the number 1 dad’s and all the mom’s that fill in for the position too! I decide to make my card with colors that would honor both. I could not pass the idea of making a little girly camouflage honoring our Military dad’s and mom’s too! This card is super simple and with less copics than I usually use lol. A little distress and some handwork drawings and va voom! DA- DY Oh OH! Ho-ho. Sorry for the lousy cheer lol. BUT I hope you are celebrating your day with your family!
IF you want to celebrate father’s day with us, join in for this Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge! Come on in! Horrah…oops I think this is stolen from the marines…lol

Here is my idea for a wedding gift tag. You can still have your little card with it…but this cutie would give a little extra humpf! lol. I can imagine you could also use this image as a tag for a favor, if you added a different sentiment.
See you all soon! Off to put the paw up! lol
Hello everyone! Still out of the trenches so this post will be short and sweet. Today I bring you a project for a father’s day. I was scratching my head for this one since I have a hard time making gift for boys lol. BUT the little light popped once I was helping Lisa (The purple place)..OHHHH…
A bookmark! Hey the guys I am around LOVE to read, so this is a very useful little gift! If you have seen those cuties at the mega bookstore you know they go sky high on prices (for a bookmark). lol
Well for this project I simple colored my Bildmalarna with copics and have her safely attached to a mega metal clip. To give a little more caracter I added a little sign “ daddy here”, since we all going to be forever daddy’s little girl! So now a little girl will be sitting where daddy stopped reading!
Well this is a simple project that I am sure you can add to that book that you are gift giving. This bookmark can be easily adapted to other occasions too! Gotta love a home made gift!

Hey you all! How is everybody doing? I hope okay! I am going to keep the post short. I will write the copic list a little later today. Well I don’t want to abuse my poor arm more than I am. I have been bad lol.
Well it is summer time up north (almost…) and at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge! Time to chill out! My Maggie is right where I wish to be..bare foot in the pool cooling with a nice Shirley temple! Hummm Yumm yumm. Of course the girl has to keep the fashion up to date and she is in full pearl gear. Hey don’t judge me! lol
For this Magnolia card I used a ton of copics…well I have all the intention to send this card for the copic challenge over my dear friend Suzanne Deans Scrapbitz.ning! Have you been there? OH you don’t know what you are missing. Tons of tips and fun! The gal is talented beyond belief!
I think the heat is affecting me so I had all the intention of keeping this card clean and simple. Bare minimum..lol. Anyway aside from copics, I used card stock (generic and some DCWV), embossing folders, glossy accents, pearls and my favorite part…recycled acetate which I colored…you guess with copics!
For now chill out! Join us at MSL challenge and I will see you all in little bit!
